Is time travel possible?

Time travel, as depicted in science fiction, is not currently possible based on our current understanding of the laws of physics. The concept of time travel involves the idea of traveling to the past or the future, which would require the ability to move faster than the speed of light or to somehow alter the passage of time.

According to the theory of relativity, the speed of light is a universal speed limit, and it is not possible for anything with mass to travel faster than the speed of light. This means that it would be impossible to travel to the past or the future by simply moving faster than the speed of light.

There are also no known ways to alter the passage of time or to create a "wormhole" through space-time, as depicted in some science fiction stories. While the concept of time travel is interesting and has been the subject of much speculation and science fiction, it is not currently considered to be possible based on our current understanding of the laws of physics.
